Support for the education is a need of the day : P C Abdul Karim Peringolam: Edu- support programmes fulfills the duty of society in the field of educating poor students, District Panchayath Member PC Abdul Karim said. He inaugurated the distribution of study materials conducted by Marhama Edu-support Programme 2014. Welfare Party District Secretary Ponnamma Johnson inaugurated 'Empower'- Project for empowering girl's education- with the distribution of scholarships. Abhinav (Member, Area committee, Students' Federation of India- SFI), Abdul Basheer (Secretary, Youth Congress), Fasil (President, Solidarity Youth Movement), Murshida (Secretary, Girls' Islamic Organization- GIO) felicitated the programme. Muslih, Coordinator presided and Wariz, Gen. Secretary conducted welcome speech. Yasin recited Holy Quran and mushthaq conducted vote of thanks.

Marhama supported more than hundred students in this programme. We distributed study materials such as Note books, Bags, Umbrellas and Instrument boxes and scholarships. The list of applicants is below:
